Terms & conditions
These terms govern your use of the Codehance website and platform, operated by Codehance Ltd, a company registered in England & Wales.
Last updated: 5 July 2026
1. The service
Codehance provides an online learning and product-building programme: a free 3-day challenge, a paid Builder subscription (video curriculum, prebuilt skills library, community), cohort programmes, and 1:1 mentorship. We may improve or change the content of the programme over time.
2. Accounts
You must provide accurate information and keep your login credentials secure. Accounts are personal and may not be shared or resold. We may suspend accounts that breach these terms.
3. Subscriptions, payments & cancellation
The Builder subscription is billed monthly or annually via Stripe and renews automatically until cancelled. You can cancel any time from your billing page; access continues to the end of the paid period. Cohort and mentorship programmes are one-time purchases.
As a UK consumer you have a 14-day cooling-off right. By accessing digital content within that period you consent to immediate supply and acknowledge that the cooling-off right is lost for content already accessed. Refund requests: hello@codehance.com.
4. Your product is yours
Anything you build during the programme — using our skills, curriculum, or guidance — belongs entirely to you, including all revenue it generates. That is the point of Codehance.
5. Our content and skills
The curriculum, videos, blueprints, and skill files are our intellectual property, licensed to you for personal use in building your own products. You may not redistribute, resell, or republish them, including in derivative courses.
6. Acceptable use
No sharing accounts, scraping the platform, abusing the community, or using the service for unlawful purposes. Community spaces (including Slack) require respectful behaviour; we may remove access for conduct that harms other students.
7. No guarantee of earnings
We teach you to build and ship a product that can earn. We cannot and do not guarantee that your product will generate revenue — outcomes depend on your idea, execution, and market.
8. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under law. Otherwise, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales, and the courts of England & Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
